ESSENTIAL LPG SAFETY GUIDELINES
Follow these critical safety rules to ensure secure and worry-free cooking at home and in commercial kitchens.
Always Upright & Ventilated
Keep cylinders standing strictly upright on a firm, level, elevated surface in a well-ventilated space. Never place cylinders in enclosed basement storage.
The Soap Solution Test
Never use a flame or matchstick to test for gas leaks. Apply soapy water to joints and hose connections. If growing bubbles appear, tighten joints immediately.
Regular Hose Replacement
Inspect the flexible rubber hose regularly for cracks or stiffness. Replace your gas hose every 2 to 3 years using only KEBS-certified LPG hoses.
Emergency Gas Smell Response
If you detect the distinct warning odor of gas, do not operate electrical switches, extinguish all flames, open all windows, and turn off the cylinder regulator.
